Hi, I’m Lydia

I’m an artist living in Louisville, KY with my husband and our two cats. I’ve spent a lot of my life in different parts of the U.S., and each place has brought new friends, unique surroundings, and plenty of inspiration for a girl who loves to paint. Outside the studio, I’m usually on a long walk, cooking, sharing a good wine, or spending time with friends and family.

I make color‑driven abstracts inspired by the little joys I find in everyday life. Each painting begins with a color in mind and grows through layers of small, repeated marks that hint at place and time. I like to think of them as a way to hold onto a memory and bring a bit of that feeling into the home.
